Functional health supplements are concentrates of vitamins, minerals, herbs, whole foods, and other natural products meant to speed up the healing process. These supplements can provide what your body is lacking, and help to remove what the body has too much of (toxins)!
Even if you eat an incredibly healthy diet, it’s still likely that you are not meeting your daily requirement for vitamins and minerals.
There is no need to take extra supplements if your body does not require them. I can help recommend some basic foundational protocols, but further lab testing is the best way to see if you are depleted in any essential vitamins or minerals. Sometimes extra supplementation is needed for 12-16 weeks to rebalance the body and then can be weaned off those supplements at that time.
